Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors of Milford are pleased to announce the opening of their offices at 600 East Main Street in Brighton, in the former Herrmann Funeral Home. Michael Lynch will manage the facility and Dana Nowak, President of Wayne State University Department of Mortuary Science Class of 2009, will live on the premises.
Michael Lynch, a native of Milford, is a 2001 graduate of Wayne State University. Dana Nowak grew up in Highland Township and graduated from the University of Michigan in 2008 before beginning her mortuary school studies at Wayne.
“We look forward to serving the bereaved in Brighton,” says Mike’s father, Thomas Lynch, senior partner in the firm. “We will work to earn the trust and confidence of the community, serving the living while caring for the dead.”
The Brighton funeral home will provide a full range of mortuary services from cremation, home wakes and green burials to traditional and uniquely customized funerals. All faiths, ethnic and religious traditions, military, civic and family customs will be honored and served.
“Communities are best served by firms that are locally owned, locally operated, and locally accountable to the families who call on us,” says Mike Lynch. “That’s why we put our name on the sign and live and work in the areas we serve. We take our commitments personally.”
